The Fire Passed, The Future Begins: Greenvale Chabad Needs Help Purchasing New Property with Community Support.
One early morning in June, the building where our beloved shul Chabad of Greenvale is located suffered a devastating fire. Baruch Hashem, no one was hurt, we we were able to save our Sefer Torah with the help of our local Jewish firefighter Michael Farca. The fire, smoke and burst pipes – water damage is gonna make it difficult and lengthy for us to move back in.
Our shul has been growing and we’ve outgrown our current space. As we reflect with gratitude and resilience, we know this is not the end — it’s the beginning of a new chapter. Our Jewish community in East Hills, Roslyn, and Greenvale is growing stronger every day, and now more than ever, we need your support to help us move forward.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with others who care about the future of Jewish life in our area. Every dollar helps us rise from the ashes — stronger and more united.
